New Key to Weaving, Mary Black, Hardcover This vintage Hardbound Book looks  nice with very little page yellowing. It comes with a dust jacket which has chipped edges with the spine portion of the jacket having torn apart. Mary Black started as an amateur and studied weaving as part of her occupational therapy course.  She later took an intensive course in Sweden for advanced weaving.  This book is a compilation of her notes during that time.  It is especially good for a beginner, and also for a teacher to use as a text.  This particular edition gives directions for the Gobelin Tapestry technique.
This is book has 658 accurate drawings and clear photographs showing incredible details.  The original publishing date was 1945.  This edition is a revised 1957 edition.
The book has been dedicated and comes with a card that has been glued to the inside cover. It was given by the Central Coaster Handweavers
