TITLE : Ariwara no Narihira
Ariwara no Narihira (825-880) was a Japanese courtier and waka poet of the
early Heian period. He was named one of both the Six Poetic Geniuses and the
Thirty-Six Poetic Geniuses. One of his poems was included in theOgura Hyakunin
Isshu collection.
Signature (Seal) : KANO SHOUN (1637-1702) was a Kano-school painter. He became
a pupil of Kano Eishin Yasunobu (1613-1685) and later became the adopted son of
Kano Ryosho.
